Hoover hosts first round of Girls Volleyball Playoffs, Tuesday, 7pm in the Big Gym

It’s Playoff time for Girl Volleyball!  Our Lady Cardinals are hosting round 1 of the Division III Playoffs Tuesday, 11/2, 7pm in the Big Gym.  Hoover is seeded 9th and will play 8th seeded Coronado.  Hoover is able to host the first game due to being City League Champions.  Tickets are $6 for students/Seniors and

Hoover Girls Volleyball goes undefeated becoming City League Champion!

Hoover Girls Varsity Volleyball traveled to Mira Mesa High School (for their Senior Night) and proceeded to win 3-1.  Hoover went undefeated in their league and have brought back the title of League Champion for the first time since 2008!  Way to go Lady Cards!  More info. to come with playoff information next week.  Great

Senior Night for Girls Volleyball

Six Girls Volleyball players were recognized after beating Morse for Senior Night. The gym was packed with students and staff, watching the team win 3-0. Tons of posters were up and everyone stayed to watch at the end, including Morse. Hoover Seniors included Morse Seniors by recognizing them and giving them candy leis.  Coach Tom

Freshmen and Varsity Girls Volleyball beat Kearny

4.0 GPA Student Athlete Celebration

Today mark’s the new eligibility period for athletics earned in progress report #1.  Hoover has 19 student athletes who earned a 4.0 during this first grading period of the year.  To congratulate these students, all were called in this morning to have donuts for a job well done.  Kudos to the following 19 student athletes,
